My trip to Charleston to shoot Army Wives was awesome! Seriously, one of the nicest Crews I've ever worked with. Not to mention the wonderful actors I shared a scene with. Shaina, with all of her eyeliner and sass, was such a fun character to play. Perhaps, this will be my "big break" into more ghetto roles. ;D

I'm so very excited to announce that I booked a role on the Lifetime series Army Wives!!! I'll be playing "Shaina" in the 17th episode of the season. Next week, I fly to Charleston, South Carolina for the shoot. Special thanks to: Richard Futch, Traci at Brevard Talent Group & my wonderful hubby, Garrett for taping all of my auditions. :D

I just got word today that I booked a co-starring role on America's Most Wanted!! Special thanks to Boca Model & Talent and Lori Wyman Casting. I'll be shooting the episode on Thursday this week!
In other news, I'll be traveling to Boca Raton tomorrow for a print shoot. Gotta love those direct bookings! :)

I booked a SAG regional commercial for Publix! I was lucky enough to shoot with some friends on Wednesday as they taped us eating java flavored ice cream with chocolate espresso chips! Needless to say, it was an amazing shoot!
Along with some voice-over work, I also booked a commercial for "Visit Orlando" that shoots this Saturday. What a great week!

I had an upcoming callback for a role in the new Mark Wahlberg & Michael Bay film "Pain and Gain." After deciding to book off our original audition tapes instead, I was a top choice, but the role went to someone a little older. *sigh* At least I was up there. :)

I had a callback for a lead role in "Hornet's Nest," a Movie-of-the-Week for TNT. Yesterday, I flew up to Wilmington, North Carolina to audition in person for the Director and Producer. A huge "Thank You!" to Lisa and Mark Fincannon...I'm so grateful for the opportunity.

This past weekend, we shot "No Charge," a comedic short film directed by Carmen Treffiletti. We managed to get the majority of the film shot in just three days! What a fun and exhausting weekend. I'm really excited to see how this film comes together.

Last night was the cast & crew screening for "Cassadaga!" It was definitely a great reunion with everyone and I'm so proud to have been a part of this project. Now it's on to the festivals and getting distribution for the film. Trailer coming soon!

My two shoot days for Dr. G - Medical Examiner were quite an adventure. I got to shoot in an actual morgue, lay on an actual morgue table and see an actual dead body! Ok, the body was covered with a sheet, but it was still just as creepy. On a lighter note, I got to meet Dr. G! Overall, it was a fabulous couple of days. Official air date coming soon.

May is looking like another busy month! I've been cast in a short film called "No Charge" and we had the cast read-through a few days ago. I shot a music video last weekend and had an audition for a SAG feature yesterday! I also booked the lead in an episode of Dr. G - Medical Examiner on Discovery Health.
Next week: I'm shooting an industrial for Publix, my episode for Dr. G, and a few more commercial spots for Tampa Hyundai/Nissan. I also have another industrial audition, our first rehearsal for "No Charge," acting class and a dance job next weekend!
I feel very blessed to be busy!

Yesterday, "A Beautiful Belly" had it's world premiere at the Florida Film Festival. I had an amazing time and I feel so privileged to be apart of this project. It was a proud moment standing next to my fellow actors Lauren Brown, Chris Worley, John William Wright, Michele Feren & Peyton Lee. A million thanks to our writer/director Andrew Kenneth Gay for giving us all this wonderful opportunity.
